- The Fayette Equal Rights Association was a chapter of the Kentucky Equal Rights Association, which worked to gain women the right to vote at the state and federal levels.
- Scope and Content
- The Fayette Equal Rights Association records (dated 1917-1920; 0.1 cubic feet; 1 folder) contains a minute book and correspondence generated by the Fayette Equal Rights Association. The minute book begins in 1917 and reflects the Association's lobbying activities with state and federal officials in the cause of woman suffrage. There are records of other group involvements as well, particularly in "Home front" activities during World War I.
