- The course catalogs for the University of Kentucky date back to 1865, when it was known as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of the Kentucky University. The course catalogs run through 2007, after which the catalogs were only available online.
- Scope and Content
- The University of Kentucky catalogs date from 1865 through 2007. Early editions of the catalogs document the history and object of the university, the grounds and buildings, the board of trustees, faculty, assistant professors, degrees, regulations, the military department, and graduates. Later additions continue to document courses offered and course descriptions, but does not include information on students and graduates. These later editions do include information on financial aid, libraries, and cultural opportunities.
