Biography / History
Attorney. George Kinkead was the son of William Bury Kinkead, also a Lexington attorney. George graduated from Princeton University in 1870. After further study in his father's law office, Kinkead was admitted to the bar in 1872. He practiced law to the time of his death in 1940.
Scope and Content
This is a microfilmed copy of Kinkead's "Memoirs, to which is prefixed the genealogy and brief historical account of those from whom he is lineally descended," this included his father William Bury Kinkead. Included are photographs of family members, some of which are in daguerreotype style cases.
