Scott was also involved in area politics.
- Scope and Content
- This collection consists of a June 1857 printed circular from the Kentucky State Agricultural Society, discussing the society's efforts in obtaining legislative support; creating a collection of books, seeds, plants, minerals, rocks, and soils; and compiling the annual report. Written on the verso of the circular is a letter, dated August 12, 1857, from the society's corresponding secretary Robert W. Scott. Scott, writing to an unnamed individual in an unnamed county, asks for a description of the county to add to the annual report.
