p Once again LSO will be taking up a collection for patients in the Universityc
Hospital. The Library's generosity has brightened the holiday season in the
past for those who must spend this time in the hospital. The boxes will be
distributed around December 6 and will be collected the week before Christmas.

l KENTUCKY SOLINET USERS GROUP MEETING
l The Kentucky SOLINET Users Group will hold its fall meeting at the Universiq
. of Kentucky on December 3. There will be a business meeting followed by
three speakers: Susanne LeBaron will discuss networking in Kentucky; Dawn
Lamade, from SOLINET, will give a follow—up report on LAMBDA; and Gail
Kennedy will speak about the OCLC Acquisitions subsystem. For the people
interested there will be demonstrations of the subsystem.
