Dear Fred:
Please accept my sincerest congratulations on the
great honor of being the President-Elect of the Ameri can
Medical Association. To have received the highest honor
that can come to a medical man at your age of life
must be particularly pleasing. At any rate, it has
given me a big kick and I wish you every success in this
important position in these strenuous times. Mary and
I hope very much that you will stay with us whenever
you are in Baltimore.
Sincerely yours,
