Dear Fred:
Like everything else you do, your letter
\ is in a class by itself. ‘What you say and the way ’
you say it inspire me and do me a lot of good. -I 1
like to think that you and 1 see things the same way
and so your letter was just what was needed to cap
the climax.
1 saw Happy here at the time of the world
Series and told him that 1 always remembered you in
my prayers for 811 that you did for me when 1 was at
a pretty low ebb.
If you ever come East, either to noston or
to Washington, please let me know. 1 want very much
` to see you again.
1 V Emily joins me in best wishes to you and
Mrs. Rankin,
raithfully yours,
Owv@
