Dear Fred:·
we are just busting with pride. I tell you it gave me
a thrill to read all the things you have done in your
long and wonderful career as a surgeon, but it even
. pleases me more to note the very high honor accorded
you in Chicago. I'read with real interest your address
as it was quoted in the paper and I am 100% in accord.
How I would like to be with you and hear you make that
C address abroad next spring. _ .
You are very deserving of all of these honors and I am
glad that the glory is reflected a little bit on us V
since you belong to us.
It was good to catch a brief glimpse of you the other
g day at Waller Hunt’s funeral. I do hope our paths will
1 K cross fairly often this winter and we'll have a chance
to really get to know each ther. A c
my hearty congratulations an genuine affecti r
