Collection Overview

Biography / History
Marshall's General Store, located in Buena Vista, Kentucky, was owned by Harry Marshall. Marshall operated a millinery above the store. In 1916, the store moved to another location in Buena Vista. Marshall sold his part of the business to Jim Harrington and Sharp Platt in 1920. With his sons, Jack and Clifton, Marshall bought out Platt in 1928. Marshall sold his share of the business in 1950.
