Biography / History
The Jeffries family lived in Montgomery County, Ky. and then moved to Denton County, Texas in the mid 1800's.
Scope and Content
This collection is a microfilm copy of correspondence and diaries kept by the Jeffries family, which was headed by Luther C. Jeffries. It includes envelopes and stamps with the correspondence, as well as, clippings, poems (frequently Theodore O'Hara's), and political memorabilia on the 1876 presidential election and several elections in Kentucky.
