"Going Up-A building to house the departments of chemistry and physics at the University of Kentucky is rising alone Rose Street, on the site of the old UK tennis courts. The six million dollar building originally was scheduled for completion in the fall of 1962, but work is running about two months behind schedule, a UK official said. The structure will be three stories above ground and the basement will be utilized." Photographer: Herald-Leader
