Old Louisville. (Printed verso reads: "House, 1000 Block, Fourth Street. This is one of the many homes erected in the old residential section of the city during the late 19th century. Reflecting the influence of the then popular Eastern architect, H.H. Richardson, the building is constructed of roughhewn masonry, handled so as to emphasize its massive quality."
